"A fact-checked guide to Shopify Plus agencies for US brands in 2026, grouped by buyer: consumer brands, mid-market replatforms and B2B wholesale. Where each is based, its Shopify partner tier, the systems it names, what it publishes about price and how to choose. FactoryJet is on the list and says so."
Key Takeaways
- 1No single Shopify Plus agency is best for every US brand. Match the firm to what you sell: consumer goods, a mid-market replatform, or B2B wholesale tied to an ERP.
- 2Every fact about every firm was read on its own website and its Shopify partner directory profile on 11 October 2026. Nobody paid to be listed, and the order is not a ranking.
- 3Shopify ended the Plus Partner program in December 2024. Today there are five partner tiers, and the Shopify tiering guide says only commercial activity is evaluated in 2026. A tier tells you about scale and leaves fit for you to check.
- 4On 11 October 2026 the Shopify directory showed 55 Platinum, 49 Premier, 304 Plus and 443 Select partners with the United States filter on.
- 5Three of the 13 other firms publish prices: Uncap ($7,500 planning step), Anatta ($2,500 migration audit) and ECommerce Partners (Plus builds from $40,000 to $300,000+ by complexity).
- 6You do not always need Shopify Plus for wholesale. The Shopify help page says B2B is available on all plans, and Plus adds unlimited catalogs, deposits and partial payments.
The short answer
No single Shopify Plus agency is best for every US brand. Match the firm to what you sell. For consumer brands, Barrel, Avex, Blackbelt Commerce or Solo Media Group. For mid-market replatforms, Domaine, Netalico, Command C or Anatta. For B2B wholesale, Uncap, Shero Commerce, SDG, BlueSwitch or ECommerce Partners. For a store tied to an ERP, QuickBooks and AI agents, FactoryJet.
We read all 14 firms on their own websites on 11 October 2026, and the other 13 in Shopify’s partner directory as well: where each is based, what it builds, which systems it names, its partner tier and any price it publishes. Nobody paid to be listed. The order is not a ranking. FactoryJet wrote this list and is on it.
If you are short on time, send us what you sell and the systems you run and the founder will tell you which kind of firm fits your project.
On 9 October 2026 we put three buyer questions to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI answers: the best Shopify Plus agencies in the US, who can build a B2B wholesale portal on Shopify Plus, and the best ecommerce development company for mid-market brands. We collected 42 answers. Those answers linked to 119 different pages. Of the 221 links, 128 went to list pages.
On 11 October we read ten of the most cited lists. Six are published by agencies, and all six name themselves: five at number one and one at number two. The other four come from software companies and a blog. Six of the ten link to Shopify’s partner directory, where a reader can check an agency’s tier. One describes Shopify’s tiering guide, which sets out what a tier measures. None links to it.
So we did the slow part. We picked US agencies that build on Shopify Plus, opened each firm’s own website and its Shopify directory profile, and wrote down only what we could read there. Every profile links to its sources.
Who wrote this. FactoryJet designs, builds and supports Shopify Plus stores, so we are on this list. Nobody paid to be included, the order is not a ranking, and our entry uses the same format as every other firm. Read every agency list with its author in mind, including this one.
A few terms first, in plain English. Shopify Plus is Shopify’s plan for high-volume businesses. A Shopify Plus agency is a firm that designs and builds stores on that plan. DTC (direct-to-consumer) means a brand sells straight to shoppers. B2B or wholesale means selling to other businesses, usually with price lists and payment terms. Replatforming means moving a store from one system, such as Magento or BigCommerce, to another. An ERP is the system that holds orders, stock and accounts. Headless means the storefront is custom code that talks to Shopify behind the scenes.

How we built this list
- Start with what buyers ask. The three questions are in buyers’ own words. “Shopify Plus agencies” alone gets 590 US Google searches a month (DataForSEO, October 2026). Google showed an AI answer for it and for six related searches when we checked on 11 October.
- Read the lists assistants cite. We read ten of the most cited lists to see who gets named and what is missing. We did not copy them.
- Keep only US agencies. Every other firm shows a US base on its own site or in its Shopify directory profile.
- Read two sources for each firm. The firm’s own pages say what it builds and who it suits. Shopify’s partner directory gives its tier, primary location and review count. We opened both on 11 October 2026.
- Report claims as claims. Project counts, client names and revenue figures are each firm’s own, and we say so.
- No scores we cannot prove. We have not hired these firms, so there are no star ratings of our own. We tell you who each one suits and one question worth asking it.
- Prices only from the firm. Where a firm publishes a project price on its own site, we quote it and link the page. We never guess another company’s price.
What a Shopify partner tier tells you
Many agency sites still say “Shopify Plus Partner”. Shopify’s help page says the Plus Partner program ended in December 2024 and the Shopify Experts name in December 2023. Today there is one Shopify Partner Program with five tiers: Registered, Select, Plus, Premier and Platinum. Plus is the third of the five.
Shopify’s Q4 2026 tiering guide sets out how a partner moves up. Registered is the starting point. Every other tier is earned through commercial impact, which Shopify measures in three ways.
| Tier | New referral and co-sell revenue | Or existing merchant revenue | And new merchants brought to Shopify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Registered | Starting point | Starting point | None required |
| Select | At least $100,000 | At least $500,000 | 1 Plus or Enterprise merchant, or 10 on standard plans |
| Plus | At least $500,000 | At least $2,500,000 | 2 Plus or Enterprise merchants, or 40 on standard plans |
| Premier | At least $2,000,000 | At least $10,000,000 | 4 Plus or Enterprise merchants |
| Platinum | At least $5,000,000 | At least $25,000,000 | 6 Plus or Enterprise merchants |
Shopify uses the stronger of the two revenue figures, and a partner must also meet the merchant count. Tiers update on the first day of January, April, July and October. The guide also says credentials are waived for 2026 and only commercial activity is evaluated.
In plain words, a tier shows how much Shopify business a partner brings in and keeps. That is a fair sign of scale. It does not show whether a firm has built a store like yours or connected the systems you run, so check the tier first and the work second.
On 11 October 2026 we counted the firms at each tier in Shopify’s partner directory, with the location filter set to the United States.
| Tier | Partners shown with the United States filter | Source (opened 11 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Platinum | 55 | shopify.com/partners/directory |
| Premier | 49 | shopify.com/partners/directory |
| Plus | 304 | shopify.com/partners/directory |
| Select | 443 | shopify.com/partners/directory |
| All partners listed for the United States | 1,310 | shopify.com/partners/directory |
Worldwide, the directory showed 141 Platinum partners on the same day. Of the 13 other firms on this page, it listed 9 as Platinum, 2 as Premier, 1 as Plus and 1 as Select. FactoryJet is a registered Shopify Partner. Each profile below gives the tier and links to the listing we read.
The best Shopify Plus agencies for US brands, profiled
The order is not a ranking. Firms are grouped by the buyer they suit, in the words buyers used: consumer brands, mid-market brands moving platform, B2B wholesale, then us.
Shopify Plus agencies for consumer and direct-to-consumer brands
Firms whose own sites name consumer brands as their clients and lead with design. All four give New York as a base on their site or Shopify profile. Each names a different kind of brand: packaged goods, fashion and lifestyle, founder-led DTC, and brands with shops as well as a site.
1. Barrel
Based: New York, per its Shopify directory profile. Its site says the team is globally distributed. Type: Shopify builds, migrations and retention marketing for packaged goods brands. Shopify partner tier: Platinum.
Barrel says it focuses exclusively on CPG, short for consumer packaged goods: products such as food, drink and personal care that sell in shops, on Amazon and direct at the same time. It has built on Shopify since 2009 and says it became a Shopify Plus partner in 2017. Its work covers site strategy, design and development, Amazon storefronts, email and text message programs, subscriptions and conversion testing. It says its McCormick build runs 14 brands under one Shopify backend with a shared cart.
- Best for: Food, drink and personal care brands that sell through retail and Amazon as well as their own store.
- Typical client: CPG brands from founder-led startups to multi-brand portfolios; it names McCormick, Cabot Creamery and Once Upon a Farm.
- Systems it names: Shopify, Klaviyo, Recharge, Rebuy, Okendo, Gorgias.
- Worth asking them: How your Shopify store would work alongside your retail and Amazon channels, and who runs email after launch.

9. Uncap
Based: Chicago, Illinois (8770 West Bryn Mawr Ave). Type: B2B-focused Shopify builds for manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers. Shopify partner tier: Platinum.

Denis Dyli founded it in 2013 and still leads solutions work. It reports 380+ storefronts launched and a team of 22, and it has its own apps for quotes, parts diagrams and vehicle fitment. Most projects start with a fixed-price plan called Uncap Blueprint (see the price section below). It says a full B2B replatform with ERP integration typically runs 14 to 18 weeks.

Shero Commerce was founded in 2010 by Beth and Gentian Shero. Shopify Plus stores joined to ERPs, QuickBooks and AI agents: FactoryJet
We build on Shopify Plus, so we are on this list. Our entry uses the same format as every other firm.
14. FactoryJet (that is us)
Based: Works with US clients remotely and schedules calls in US business hours. Type: Shopify Plus stores, B2B, migrations, integrations and AI agents. Shopify partner tier: Registered.
FactoryJet designs, builds and supports Shopify Plus stores: custom themes, checkout extensions, Shopify Functions, B2B companies and catalogs, and expansion stores. It migrates stores from Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce and WooCommerce. It connects Shopify to QuickBooks and to ERPs including NetSuite, Odoo, SAP Business One and ERPNext, and builds AI agents for store operations such as order exceptions, emailed wholesale purchase orders and returns. Work is quoted as a fixed price in writing after a short scoping call, and the client owns everything built.
- Best for: Brands and wholesalers that want the store, the ERP or QuickBooks connection and AI agents from one team.
- Typical client: Brands, wholesalers and distributors; 500+ businesses served since 2014.
- Systems it names: Shopify Plus, Shopify Functions, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Odoo, SAP Business One, ERPNext.
- Worth asking them: To see working software on your own data before you sign a contract.
If you are ready to talk to a builder
Our Shopify Plus development service starts with a short scoping call and a fixed price in writing. The founder joins the first call, and we can show working software on your own data before you sign a contract.
Talk to the FounderWhat these agencies publish about price
Most firms on this list quote after a call. On the pages we read on 11 October 2026, three of the 13 other firms publish project figures and two more show budget bands on their enquiry forms. We copied them exactly. They are each firm’s own figures. They are not FactoryJet prices or a market survey. Check the source before you rely on them, because firms change prices.
| Firm | Published figure (USD) | Source (opened 11 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Uncap | Uncap Blueprint, a fixed-price $7,500 plan covering architecture, an ERP integration roadmap and a replatforming risk assessment. The build that follows is fixed scope | www.uncap.com/shopify-agency |
| Anatta | 5-Day Horizon Readiness Audit at $2,500, credited. Redesign-or-CRO Diagnostic, two weeks, at $5,000, credited | anatta.io/shopify-plus-agency/ |
| ECommerce Partners | Says standard Plus builds typically run $40,000 to $80,000, builds with ERP integration, custom checkout and B2B $80,000 to $150,000, and enterprise migrations $150,000 to $300,000+. Each project starts with a paid Technical Discovery phase | ecommercepartners.com/services/shopify-plus/ |
| Command C | No published price. Its enquiry form offers budget bands from $25K to $50K up to $400K+ | commandc.com/ |
| Blackbelt Commerce | No published price. Its enquiry form offers budget bands for new websites from $2,500 to $4,000 up to $20,000+ | www.blackbeltcommerce.com/ |
How to read this. Uncap and Anatta price a plan or an audit, and quote the build afterwards. ECommerce Partners gives ranges by complexity. Netalico and Solo Media Group publish rates for ongoing work on their sites; this page compares build projects, so those are left out. The other six firms show no project price on the pages we read.
For a wider view, CartCoders, a Shopify agency, puts a typical Shopify Plus store build at $40,000 to $120,000 or more in its 2026 cost guide, and a full custom store on a standard plan at $8,000 to $35,000. The platform fee is separate. Shopify’s help page lists Plus at $2,300 a month on a three-year term or $2,500 a month on a one-year term for standard setups.
FactoryJet does not publish a rate card. We quote the build and the ongoing support as fixed prices in writing after a short scoping call. For the platform costs line by line, read the true cost of Shopify Plus.

“We are a food, drink or personal care brand and we sell in shops and on Amazon too.”
Barrel, which says it works only with packaged goods brands.
“We are a fashion or lifestyle brand and design comes first.”
Avex. If you also run shops and wholesale from the same store, Solo Media Group.
“We are a founder-led DTC brand doing a few million a year.”
Blackbelt Commerce names brands doing $1M to $5M and puts you in direct contact with its two founders.
“We are leaving Magento or BigCommerce and cannot lose our search traffic.”
Netalico. Command C if you want a written diagnosis before any build. Domaine for a large move across several markets.
“We are a large omnichannel brand and the move touches our ERP and order systems.”
Anatta or Domaine.
“We are a manufacturer or distributor and need a wholesale portal.”
Uncap, which focuses on B2B. SDG at enterprise scale. BlueSwitch for ready-made B2B modules. ECommerce Partners for mid-sized wholesalers.
“We sell wholesale and retail from one store.”
Shero Commerce or SDG. Both describe B2B and DTC run from a single Shopify store.
“We need the store connected to QuickBooks or our ERP, with AI agents handling order work.”
FactoryJet builds the store, the integration and the agents as one project. See Shopify and QuickBooks integration and Shopify AI agents.
Which agency can build a B2B wholesale portal on Shopify Plus?
That is how one buyer put it. A wholesale portal is a private part of your store where business customers log in, see their own prices, order on payment terms and reorder quickly. Before you pick an agency, check whether you need Plus for it. Shopify’s own pages draw the line like this, as we read them on 11 October 2026:
- On every plan. Shopify’s help page says Shopify B2B is available on all plans. The pricing page shows up to 3 catalogs on the plans below Plus. A catalog is a price list you assign to a group of buyers.
- Added on Plus. Unlimited catalogs, catalogs assigned directly to companies and locations, deposits, partial payments and payment requests per fulfillment.
- Also on Plus. 9 expansion stores, plus checkout customization with separate flows for B2B and consumer buyers in the same store.
A business with a few price lists and standard terms may not need Plus. A business with many customer-specific price lists, deposits on large orders or a separate wholesale storefront usually does. Uncap makes the same point on its own page.
| Agency | Who it builds B2B for | ERP and accounting systems it names |
|---|---|---|
| Uncap | Manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers; it names Kooks Headers, ULE Group and Canon Medical Systems | NetSuite, Dynamics, Acumatica, Epicor, Infor, Sage |
| Shero Commerce | Mid-market and enterprise brands; its client stories include Regal Cinemas and Sarris Candies | NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Acumatica, QuickBooks and Xero, among 170+ listed integrations |
| SDG (Spiegel Design Group) | Enterprise brands; for wholesale work it names Mattel, Revlon, Columbia and prAna | NetSuite, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics 365 |
| BlueSwitch | Enterprise and challenger brands in fashion, technology, health and beauty, industrial and manufacturing | Lists ERP work as a service; no ERP is named on the pages we read |
| ECommerce Partners | Manufacturers, distributors and brands selling wholesale alongside retail, typically $3M or more a year | ERP integrations, with AS400 named in a case study |
| FactoryJet (that is us) | Brands, wholesalers and distributors; 500+ businesses served since 2014 | QuickBooks, NetSuite, Odoo, SAP Business One, ERPNext |
Domaine, Barrel and Avex also list B2B among their services. FactoryJet builds B2B companies, catalogs, payment terms and wholesale ordering on Shopify Plus and connects them to the system that holds your prices and stock. See Shopify Plus B2B development and our wider page on B2B ecommerce.
What Shopify Plus includes, according to Shopify
An agency builds on the plan. It helps to know what the plan itself gives you. These rows come from Shopify’s help page for the Plus plan, read on 11 October 2026. Shopify notes that pricing can change.
| Item | What Shopify lists for Plus |
|---|---|
| Plan price in US dollars | $2,300 a month on a 3-year term or $2,500 a month on a 1-year term, for standard setups. Larger or more complex businesses may pay a variable platform fee instead |
| Expansion stores | 9 expansion stores, for other countries, separate locations and similar uses |
| Staff accounts | Unlimited |
| B2B | Unlimited catalogs, catalogs assigned directly to companies and locations, deposits, partial payments and payment requests per fulfillment |
| Checkout | Checkout customization, including separate checkout flows for B2B and consumer buyers in the same store |
| Shopify Functions | Custom store logic delivered through custom apps |
| Headless storefronts | Up to 25 custom storefronts built with Hydrogen |
| Point of sale | The first 20 POS Pro locations are included |
| Themes | Up to 100 themes on the account |
Two agencies on this list give a view on when Plus pays. Command C says it is where brands doing $10M to $75M in revenue tend to land when they hit the limits of their current platform. Uncap says Plus is not always the answer for B2B. Write down the Plus-only rows you would use. If the list is short, ask each agency whether a lower plan would do.
How to choose a Shopify Plus agency: 7 steps
Open each step for the detail.
1. Write one page on what you sell and what you run
Note what you sell, who buys it, the platform you run today, and every system the store must talk to: ERP, accounting, warehouse, email. Add your catalog size and any wholesale price lists. Firms give far better answers to one real page than to “we want to move to Shopify Plus”.
2. Check whether you need Plus at all
Use the table above. If you need custom checkout rules, many B2B price lists or several stores, Plus is likely. If you need none of those, a lower plan may do, and a good agency will say so. Our Shopify development page covers builds on the standard plans.
3. Filter by the kind of buyer each agency names
A packaged goods brand, a $40M apparel brand and an industrial distributor need different partners. Cross off any firm whose typical client looks nothing like you, whatever its tier.
4. Check the tier yourself
Search for each firm in Shopify’s partner directory. The profile shows the tier, the primary location and client reviews. Tiers update every quarter, so the directory is more current than a badge on an agency site.
5. Ask for a finished project like yours
The useful match is the same starting platform and the same systems. If you are leaving Magento with NetSuite behind it, ask for a Magento to Shopify Plus store that syncs with NetSuite today, and ask to speak to that client.
6. Send the same page to three firms
Same page, same day. Strong firms ask about redirects, order history, price lists and who approves the design. Weak ones send a proposal without a question. Compare the questions before you compare the quotes.
7. Agree what happens after launch
Ask who supports the store once it is live and how fast they respond. Make sure the Shopify store, the theme code and every app account are in your company’s name. The worst outcome is an agency that disappears after launch.

Six questions to ask before you sign
- Which named systems have you connected Shopify to? Uncap and SDG name theirs on their sites. A firm that cannot name any has probably not done many.
- How do you map and test redirects? Netalico and Blackbelt Commerce both describe URL or redirect mapping as part of their migrations. Ask to see the mapping sheet from a past project.
- Who writes the code? Netalico says nothing is subcontracted and BlueSwitch says its team is 100% in-house. Ask every firm the same question.
- What is your tier in Shopify’s directory today? Then look it up yourself.
- Can we see something working on our own data before we sign? A demo on your own products and prices tells you more than a slide deck. FactoryJet shows working software on the buyer’s own data before a contract.
- Who owns the theme code, the custom apps and the accounts at the end? The answer should be you, in writing.
What FactoryJet builds on Shopify Plus
We are FactoryJet. We have served 500+ businesses since 2014, most of that time in commerce: online stores, B2B ordering and the operations behind them. Our founder, Bhavesh Barot, is involved in every project. We are a registered Shopify Partner, and we work remotely with US clients and schedule calls in US business hours.
- Stores. Custom themes, checkout extensions, Shopify Functions and expansion stores. See Shopify Plus development and checkout customization.
- B2B. Companies, catalogs, payment terms and wholesale ordering. See Shopify Plus B2B.
- Migrations. From Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce and WooCommerce. See Shopify migration and our Magento to Shopify Plus checklist.
- Integrations. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Odoo, SAP Business One, ERPNext and custom ERPs, plus EDI, punchout catalogs, Xero and HubSpot. See Shopify and QuickBooks integration, ecommerce ERP integration and Shopify EDI integration.
- AI agents. Agents that work on store operations, such as order exceptions, emailed wholesale purchase orders and returns, with approval steps. See Shopify AI agents and ERP AI agents.
A focused Plus build, such as checkout, Functions, B2B or a migration, usually runs 5 to 8 weeks. A full replatform or headless build takes 8 to 14 weeks. We quote the build and the ongoing support as fixed prices in writing after a short scoping call, and we can show working software on your own data before you sign a contract. After launch we keep managing the servers, AI, APIs and maintenance so your team does not have to. You own everything we build.
If you are still working out what you need, these pages explain the options in plain English: ecommerce development agencies in the USA for builds beyond Shopify, the matching list of BigCommerce agencies, how to choose an ecommerce development agency, and B2B ecommerce development agencies for portals.
